Q - How do I post a message to the CDead list once I've joined?

A - To post a message to CDead, send an e-mail to: CDead@deadacated.com .

Q - What are the instructions for sending B+P packages to members?

A - Send number of blank CDRs as instructed. Some members request you send an extra blank. The extra blank is in case of problems and will be returned whether it is used or not. Place the CDRs in sleeves, not jewel cases. Place them in a NEW, PRE ADDRESSED, STAMPED disk (bubble type) envelope. Place that package in another (manila type) envelope addressed to the member doing the B+P for you. Be sure to mark both envelopes with B+P, the date of the show, and whether it is a SHN or Audio B+P. Both envelopes must be marked with this information, or packages may be returned unopened. Many members do not require new envelopes. If you are not sure, ask the member doing the B+P for you if it's ok to send recycled envelopes.

Q - Can I have the link to my trading list put on Deadacated.com?

A - Yes, any CDead member can have the link to their trading list added to the Member Trading Lists page on Deadacated.com. Once you have joined CDead, send an e-mail to: jashley@deadacated.com and make a request to have your link added to the CDead Member Trading Lists page. Make sure to include the link (URL) to your trading list. Note: Deadacated.com does not host trading lists, only the links to them.

Q - How do I turn HTML off for my e-mail?

A - For Internet Explorer: Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format: Click on Plain Text. For Netscape: Edit, Preferences, Formatting, Message Formatting Radio Button: Use Plain Text Editor / Convert to Plain Text. For Eudora: Tools, Options, Styled Text, Click Send Plain Text Only.

Q - Can I sponsor a new member into CDead?

A - Yes, members of 6 months or more may sponsor new members. First, have the person being sponsored read the home page, at: http://www.deadacated.com , and the entire member rules page, at: http://www.deadacated.com/rules.htm . Then, if they are still interested in joining, send a request to: cdeadadmin@deadacated.com .

Q - Can I receive a digest version?

A - No, CDead is a "real-time" list and Digest delivery is not available.

Q - What can I do if I am going on vacation, or will be away for a short time, and don't want to come home to a hugh number of CDead posts?

A - Send an e-mail to jashley@deadacated.com and ask to be set to "Post Only" delivery until you return. When you return, ask to be set back to "Normal" delivery.

Q - How do I unsubscribe?

A - Send an e-mail to jashley@deadacated.com and ask to be unsubscribed.
